ELEANOR DOOKS
(nee CONNON)
Much
loved mother of Carol (Cam), Robert, Mary (Larry), James (Marni) and a
fantastic Grandma to Jarrett, Bret, Tyler, Natasha, Arielle, Alanna, Lance,
Lauren, and the furry grandkids Lucy, Sadie, Marley, Max and Scooter, passed
away on Sunday, April 28, 2013.
Eleanor
loved spending time with her neighbours, providing sports commentary on many
sports that she loved, and after retiring from Heritage Lodge Care Home was
able to spend much more time with family and friends. She lived with a straight
forward, no-nonsense approach to life, always offering up a chuckle, and that
will be greatly missed.
At
Eleanor’s request no public Service will be held, a private memorial dinner in
her honour will take place.
The
family thanks all of the staff at 3 North-Grace Hospital.
In
lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or
charity of your choice.

We'd like to share a few things our mom taught
us:
*If you think you're going to stay home from
school you better be really, really sick *Always cheer the loudest when your
kid is on the ice *You can never bring too many dainties to Christmas dinner
*When you have a decision to make, always go with your gut *When you're sick,
rub Vicks Vapo Rub on your feet :) *TSN is the best station ever *Always cheer
for a Canadian team in the playoffs, unless it's the Habs *You can never win
too many bingo games *Red Lobster, enough said *Just look out for one
another *Keep fighting, you're not done yet.
