VERNON
ROBERT HULME
Peacefully, after a
day out with his beloved wife Myrtha of 49 years; it is with sadness that we
announce the passing of Vern Hulme, on Thursday, May 2, 2013.
A resident of
Winnipeg since 1959, Vern was 81 years old. He is survived by his wife Myrtha;
daughter Cathy (Dave) Greenhalgh; grandson Justin; and dear family and friends.
Retired sixteen
years, Vern had been a long haul transport driver for many years but was forced
to leave the highway due to a serious accident.
He began working at the International Inn where he happily served for
twenty-five years.
On Tuesday, May 7,
2013 Vernon’s Funeral Service will be held 1:00 p.m. in Cross Church, 1787
Logan Avenue @ Keewatin Street, with Pastor Alan Duncalfe, Officiating. For those who wish viewing will be held prior
to the Service at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Cemetery,
4000 Portage Ave.
