Wojcik's Funeral Chapel - Branick Peterson Funeral Arrangements

BRANICK (BRANY) PETERSON

Peacefully on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 Branick (Brany) Peterson of Winnipeg passed away at Maples Personal Care Home, at the age of 92 years.
Brany was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will be forever remembered by his loving family; sons Dennis (Glenda) and Brent (Irene) and their families. He was predeceased by his adoring wife of 62 years, Ruth, and their daughter Sharon.
As a proud WW II veteran, Brany served as an aircraft mechanic. In later years he worked for Air Canada. He also owned and operated Peterson’s Autobody for over forty years. Brany’s skills as an accomplished “bodyman” were known by friends and relatives who were often amazed by his ingenuity and inventiveness. You could always count on Brany to lend a helping hand for any project.
In his retirement, Brany took great pride in building his cottage at Shoal Lake, Ontario and sharing it with friends and family. He loved spending time with his grandsons. He enjoyed fishing, boating, snowmobiling, motorcycling and was always singing a happy tune or whistling as he went through life.
A Celebration of Brany’s Life will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Headingley United Church, 110 Bridge Road with Rev. George Davidson officiating.
Thank you to all the staff of Seven Oaks Hospital and Maples Care Home who provided such wonderful care for Brany.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
