ARTHUR RICHARD WYNNE 
Arthur Richard Wynne passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Seven Oaks Hospital, Winnipeg, MB. Left to cherish Arthur's memory are his son, Richard (Gretchen); daughters, Wendy (Al), and Penny (Dave); grandchildren, Peter, Sarah, and Sophia; stepchildren, Debby (Gordon), Chris Cowen (Maria), and Neil Cowen (Linette); grandchildren, Zack, Shannon, Jose, Cindy, Lilly and Cierra; sisters, Mary, Nettie and Annie; brother, Hugh; and their families. He was predeceased by parents, Martha and Charlie Wynne; brothers, Charlie, John and Roland (Cummie); first wife, Susie; and second wife, Jean. Arthur (Dick, to family) was born on the family homestead at Manigotogan, January 26, 1923. The family moved to Bissett in 1934. Dick worked at the San Antonio Mine Carpentry shop, helping to build the school in 1940. Dick enlisted in the the Canadian Army in October 1940 and served as an Anti-Aircraft Gunner in England. He later transferred to the Black Watch, where he was involved in the invasion of Normandy and the liberation of the Netherlands. Following discharge, Dick married and moved to British Columbia, then to California, where he resided for over 60 years. Dick returned home to Manitoba in July 2011. A Celebration of Arthur's Life will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in Community of Christ Church, 154 Pentland St. (North Kildonan).
