After a courageous battle with cancer, it is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sandra of Winnipeg, MB on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at 77 years of age.
Sandra is survived by her beloved husband Joseph of 33 years; daughter Aneta; son-in-law George and two beautiful granddaughter's Sidney and Samantha. She also leaves behind her sister Sophia and her three sons, a niece Kristina (her husband John and children Anna and Stanley) who live in Winnipeg and three sisters and two brothers and families back in her home country of Poland.
Originally from Poland, Sandra came to Canada in 1965 where she settled in Winnipeg and worked at Misericordia Hospital for over 20 Years until retirement. She was an avid golfer and her love of bowling even took her across Canada to represent Manitoba. In later years Sandra enjoyed spending time and playing bingo with her new friends at the Rotary Villa. She was an amazing, hardworking person who was happiest when taking care of her family and friends. Words cannot describe our loss. Our love for her will last forever in our hearts. Rest in Peace.         
Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Monday, December 16, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Vital Catholic Church, 1629 Pembina Hwy. A private Interment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Sandra's memory to Cancer Care Foundation Manitoba 1160-675 McDermot Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
