Richard Wojcik's Funeral Home - Florence Salter Funeral Arrangements

FLORENCE SALTER

Peacefully in her sleep and family holding her hand, Florence Salter was reunited with the rest of her family on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at the age of 91 years, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Left to mourn Florence are her son Darrell (Sandra); as well as many friends and relatives. She will be missed much by her little friend, Jenny (pictured above). She was predeceased by her husband, Howard, in 1995.
People who knew Florence knew she was the first to be there to give someone a hand. She would go out of her way to make sure a person would receive whatever care they needed. And even after her passing, Florence will continue to help other people. All of her clothing will be going to the Salvation Army, so people will have clothes on their back for years to come.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, 4588 Roblin Boulevard with Rev. Msgr. Maurice Comeault, P.H. presiding. Private Interment to follow.
Special thanks goes to Charlie Houston who helped out so much. And to the staff at Grace Hospital for making Florence's last days as comfortable as possible.
