(SAM) FARACI
On Sunday, February 9, 2014 Sam Cosimo Faraci
of Winnipeg passed away at the Grace Hospital at the age of 83 years.
Sam is survived by wife Joan of 38 years of
marriage; two brothers Paul Faraci and Phil (Claire) Faraci; three children,
Sandra Demski, of Vancouver, Sharon (Jerry) Tummillo, Phil Faraci (Pam Dueck);
stepson Bob (Cher) Sawatzky; four grandchildren (two great- grandchildren);
four step-grandchildren (thirteen step great-grandchildren); as well as many
nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Phil Faraci and
Madeline (Guarino); grandparents; sisters and brother-in-law, Nellie Harrap;
Agnes (John) LaMonica; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Quinto
(Georgette) Pagnoni; Sara Margarit; Josie (Planky) Carniato.
On March 20, 1930 Sam was born in Winnipeg,
Manitoba, to the late Madeline and Phil Faraci. He was a beloved member of the
community and a member and of the International Odd Fellows (past grand
master), St. James Legion #4 and MB #1 Lodge.
Sam was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to all.
Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Thursday,
February 13, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Holy
Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Avenue, with Rev. Msgr. Ward Jamieson, presiding.
