STERLING SANFORD SMITH
It
is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sterling Smith after a
courageous battle with dementia. He died peacefully with his wife Jane by
his side at the Seven Oaks Hospital on Thursday, January 9, 2014.
Left
to survive Sterling are his loving wife Jane of 60 years of marriage; four
daughters Barb (Brian), Bev (Ted), Kathy (Wayne) and Melinda; six grandchildren
Lisa, Jeff (Candice) David, Melissa, Daniel, Ricky; and great-granddaughter
Lily.
A
private family memorial to celebrate Sterling’s life will be held at a later
date.
In
lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba,
10 – 120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.
