Wojcik's Funeral Home - Josephine Naaykens Funeral Arrangements

JOSEPHINE JEAN NAAYKENS
May 6, 1930 – July 7, 2013

With her family at her side, Josephine passed away at the Beausejour Hospital Sunday, July 7, 2013.
Josephine will be sadly missed by her son Mark and wife Diane; grandchildren Megan and Thomas; brother Victor and wife Stella; sister-in-law Joan; many nieces; nephews; relatives and friends.
Mom was a person who loved life, nature, family and religion. She was happiest when surrounded by family, friends and loved ones.  Always ready for a challenge either at work, business, volunteering or fundraising, she was full of eagerness and had the determination to succeed.
Mom worked for the town of Beausejour for 28 years and retired in 1989. Over the years she went to Business College in Kelowna, BC, had her own catering business, took municipal administration and law courses at the University of Manitoba, did income tax returns, and was a Mary Kay consultant. She always loved to travel, took many trips and always enjoyed a good game of cards. We will miss Mom’s baking and cooking, her beautiful gardens and lovely flowers, and especially her warm smile whenever someone would visit.
Prayers will be held Sunday evening, July 14, 2013 at 7:00 p.m.; Funeral Liturgy will be Celebrated Monday morning, July 15, 2013 at 10:30 a.m.  Both services will take place in St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 530 Atlantic Avenue, Beausejour, MB.
The family would like to thank Dr. Schmidt, the Beausejour Hospital staff and the homecare staff that helped Mom.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Josephine’s name to St. Mary’s Restoration Fund.
