SARAH SYLVIA CHARTRAND
February 1, 1934
We are saddened to say that our
dearly loved mom passed away on August 5, 2013, in Winnipeg.
She is predeceased by her parents, three
brothers and five sisters. She is survived by her two beloved children, Kelly
and Shasta, her two grandchildren, Megan (Jon), Lucas and her great grandson
Theodore. Also surviving is her sister Beverly, numerous nieces and nephews and
some very close friends.
Mom was born and raised in The Pas and
received her schooling there at Sacred Heart and the local high school. After
being in the labour force for fifteen years, Mom returned for her business
course at the Keewatin Community College and, after completion, was taken on
staff where she worked for three years. She then went to work for the federal
government in The Pas, Thompson and Winnipeg for the next twenty-five years
retiring in 1994, after which time she travelled extensively - and always with
a return ticket. In her younger years most travel was done shank’s mare.
There will be no funeral service. Interment
will be in The Pas at a later date.

ladies Mercedes and Christine, and the compassionate staff at Riverview Health
Centre.
