Wojcik's Funeral Chapel - Julia Buis Funeral Arrangements

JULIA MARY BUIS

On Thursday, September 26, 2013 Julia Mary Buis (Nee Prystay) passed away after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease. She was born in Preecviille, Saskatchewan, where she married her husband Theodore and moved to Winnipeg where they shared 57 years of marriage. Julia enjoyed being a stay at home mom to her two sons, Gregory and David.
Julia enjoyed travelling the country side and abroad to spend time with family and friends whom were always her main focus and center of attention. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.  She leaves behind with fond memories her grandchildren Jordana, Landon, Duncan, McKenna, and Samantha, with numerous nieces and nephews, family in Ontario, and Saskatchewan. She was the last of 6 siblings and is now together with them again.
A Celebration of Julia’s Life was held on Saturday, October 5, 2013, at Meadowood Manor Personal Care Home which became a very caring and loving home for her. The day was shared with many friends, family, and staff in attendance. Her final rest and funeral service will be held at her birth place in Preecville, Saskatchewan on Saturday, October 26, 2013.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thanks to the caring staff at Meadowood Manor for their unwavering care and support they shared with Julia.  Their care made her final days peaceful and lifted all our spirits with their kindness.
“There is only one happiness in this life, to love and be loved”.  Julia always new this and showed it through her compassion and caring for all she knew. Her spirit will always be remembered with love. She will be remembered and be held close in our hearts forever.
