Richard Wojcik's Funeral Home - Sheila Cox Funeral Arrangements

SHEILA MARIE COX
May 8, 1968 - January 30, 2014

Peacefully on Thursday, January 30, 2014 with her family at her side, Sheila was taken from us at the age of 45 years.
Left to mourn Sheila’s passing are her husband Chris; daughter Haelley; son Ryan; mother Elizabeth; father Nick; sister Tammy (Henry); brothers Mark (Sherri) and Ted (Lisanne); mother-in-law Angela; brother-in-law Julian (Laurie); sister-in-law Vanessa (Bruce); along with many cousins; aunts; uncles; nieces and nephews.
Sheila was a special lady who touched so many lives. She began her career at Saan Stores in 1988 and quickly worked her way up to store manager at age 22. She soon joined the Saan Head Office as a buyer, and enjoyed many buying trips to places such as Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, and Montreal. At the time of her passing, Sheila was employed as a representative of Staples Canada.
Sheila’s true joy was her family, with whom she enjoyed many, many great vacations. She particularly enjoyed watching her children perform, whether it was Haelley on the dance and theatre stages, or Ryan at the hockey rink and soccer field. She was so proud of all of their accomplishments. Sheila enjoyed so many friendships, and was so glad to be visited in her final days by the Denman girls, the Irish Dance and Hockey moms, as well co-workers from her days at Staples and Saan Stores. She was an active fund-raiser for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, participating annually in the CIBC Run for the Cure.
Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Timothy’s Roman Catholic Church, 135 John Forsyth Road, with Rev. Fr. Phil Daley, presiding.
The family would like to extend its sincerest thanks to the staff of the Buhler Cancer Centre at the Victoria Hospital, as well as to the staff at the Riverview Health Centre, for all the wonderful care Sheila received.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Sheila's name to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, 304 - 1 Wesley Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 4C6.
