Richard Wojcik's Funeral Home Winnipeg - Heather Hindmarsh Funeral Arrangements

Heather Joyce Hindmarsh
1943 - 2014

Peacefully, on Sunday March 2, 2014, Heather passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 70 years.
Heather is survived by her husband Patrick Sweeney; sister Margaret Roman (Roy); sister-in-law Betty; brothers-in-law Dave Miller and Ron Serbin; nephews  Jordan Roman, Ron Serbin, Glen, Terry, and Gary Miller; and nieces  Sherry and Corrine.  She was predeceased by her father George Hindmarsh; mother Geraldine; sisters Jacqueline and Murielle; brother George Jr.; and nephew David Miller.
Heather lived in St. Vital for most of her life. She went out every day to walk and enjoy the fresh air.  She was independent and intelligent.  Heather will be remembered as an avid reader and enjoyed books on a variety of topics.  She loved to shop; she held various positions in the work place.  Her witty sense of humour helped her to be a caring, loving person and a hard worker.
Special thanks to Miriam from Cancer Care Manitoba and the Doctors and staff of the Palliative Care Unit 8th floor at St. Boniface Hospital.  Memorial donations to Cancer Care Manitoba would be appreciated.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no services in accordance with Heather’s wishes.
