Richard Wojcik's Funeral Chapel - Gerald Moszynski Funeral Arrangements

GERALD (JERRY) MOSZYNSKI

It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of our much loved husband, father and grandfather, Jerry Moszynski, on Tuesday, February 25, 2014.

Left to cherish Jerry’s memory are his wife Jean of 59 years of marriage; daughters Barbara, Teresa (Richard), Christine (Anthony); sons Michael and Robert (Maria); grandchildren Richard, Andrew, Matthew, Adam and Mark; as well as brother Norman. He was predeceased by his parents Konstanty and Sophie; and brothers Teddy and Mike.
Jerry was born in Winnipeg on January 11, 1927, the youngest of four boys. He grew up in Winnipeg and attended Holy Ghost and Aberdeen Schools. He worked for the CNR and remained there until he retired. Jerry met the love of his life Jean at a dance at Saint John Cantius and they married in 1954. They lived and raised their five children in Winnipeg. After his retirement they did some travelling. Winters in Arizona and Mexico; summers were spent at the cottage enjoying the outdoors with his grandchildren. Jerry loved to go picking blueberries and mushrooms, fishing and woodworking. We will always remember him as a kind and loving man with a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by his family.
On Saturday, March 1, 2014 Jerry’s Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik’s Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street @ Manitoba Avenue.
