JANINA
ADAMUS
Peacefully on Monday, January 14, 2013,
Janina passed away at her residence at the age of 87 years.
Janina was the beloved wife of the late
Waclaw (William) Adamus; loving mother of sons Walter (Shannon) and Mark
(Lisa); loving grandmother of Jason (Crystal), Stephan, Calen, Spencer, Ivy and
Lydia; and loving great-grandmother of Amelia & Elliot. She will also be
lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Besides her beloved husband Waclaw, she was
predeceased by her parents Edward and Malgorzata Targonski; as well as her
siblings.
On September 5, 1925 Janina was born in
Pruszkow, Poland. After surviving WWII,
she came to Canada with her family, settling in St. Boniface. She was employed at St. Boniface Hospital for
most of her working life doing what she did best, nurturing and care-giving.
We will all especially miss Janina’s wonderful
cooking filled with her love. Her family
and their happiness was her life.
Funeral Liturgy will be Celebrated on Monday,
January 21, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Andrew Bobola Roman Catholic Church, 541
Marion Street.
