Richard Wojcik Funeral Director - Frank Walter MacDonald

FRANK WALTER MACDONALD

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Frank, peacefully at Tuxedo Villa Personal Care Home on Thursday, December 27, 2012.
Dad is survived by his children Arlene, Margaret (Bob) and Ray (Gail); grandchildren Don (Darlene) and Laurie (Chuck); great-grandchildren Sarah and Laura; niece Derrene (Al); and children Ashley (Dave) and Scott. Dad was predeceased by his dear wife Dorothy in 2003; and by his son-in-law Brian.
Born August 29, 1913, Frank worked for many years as Superintendent at Tuxedo and later Rossmere Golf Courses and was one of the founding members of the Manitoba Golf Course Superintendent's Association. In retirement, Mom and Dad spent many happy days at Nutimik Lake in the cottage Dad built in 1954. They also travelled extensively in the southern United States.
Dad lived in his own home until the age of 97 before moving to Tuxedo Villa. The family wishes to thank the staff for their care and compassion during the last two years.
In compliance with Dad’s wishes there will be no Funeral Service.  Love from the family.
