MARGARET
McLACHLAN GRAFF
(nee HUNTER)
On
Saturday, September 28, 2013 the Lord whispered “Come unto me … I will give you
rest”. In that glorious moment, beloved Wife and cherished Mother, Margaret
McLachlan Graff, walked wholly restored through the gates of Heaven to her
eternal Home!
Until
that day when they shall be reunited again, sadness overwhelms Margaret’s
devoted and loving husband of 65 years, Jack Graff of Teulon, Manitoba. Mother
loved each of her children equally and unconditionally. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her
sons, Jack, Doug (Anne-Marie); grandson J.D., three daughters, Janice, Dawn,
Colleen (Burk); and honorary "adopted" daughter Karen Hewitt who
loved her “Maggie” oh so very much. She is also survived by brother David
(Ruby; sister Jean (Steve); beloved sister-in-law Hilda; as well as numerous
nieces and nephews throughout Canada and the U.S. Margaret was predeceased by
her mother Jean, father William and brother William Hunter.
Mom
was born August 2nd, 1926 in Scotland and moved to Canada in 1927. She was
employed at Eaton’s Mail Order and for many years later as Cook at the Odeon
Drive-in Theatre.
She
was a rare and special jewel who saw only the good in others. She loved her
Lord and Savior Jesus Christ teaching her children at a very young age to
believe and trust in him above all else.
Mother loved to sing the Old Gospel Songs and faithfully tuned in to
hear John Aune and the CFRY Sunday Request Show. Thank you John for all the warm wonderful
smiles you placed in her heart over the years!
On Thursday, October 3, 2013
