Richard,

I just wanted to congratulate you on what was the most beautiful memorial service I have ever attended.  I mentioned that to Louise before I left but I did have to go before you emerged from behind the curtain.

It was so, so beautiful and I’m only sorry that more were not able to attend to see all that you had created.  I was overwhelmed with emotion – every detail had been thought out and was extraordinary from the pipe band to the staging to the powerpoint – everything.

I know you must be disappointed with the low turnout but I know the message of your kindness and thoughtfulness will have stretched far beyond those who were able to take part.
