PAULINA
OZIMEK
On the morning of Wednesday, July 9,
2014, our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Paulina Ozimek
passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side at Middlechurch Care Home
at the age of 89 years.
Remaining to forever cherish Paulina’s memory
are her two daughters, Mary Baranowski (Joe) and Joan Sobieski (Ted); four grandchildren,
four great-grandchildren, one brother in Poland and by numerous nieces and
nephews in Canada and Poland. She was predeceased by her husband Tadeusz (Ted)
of 63 years of marriage in 2011.
Paulina was born in Cewkow, Poland
on June 10, 1925. Ted and Paulina, along with their two daughters, immigrated
to Canada in 1961. She worked in numerous sewing factories until her
retirement. Paulina enjoyed after church Sunday lunches with the family and you
would never return home empty-handed. Mom would always pack a container of her
delicious home-made cabbage rolls or perogies.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on
Monday, July 14, 2014 at 10:00 a.m., in Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341
Selkirk Avenue, with an Oblate Father Presiding. Interment will follow in the Holy Ghost Roman
Catholic Parish Cemetery, 4387 Main Street.
For those who wish, viewing will take place with the Rosary being said at

Our family would like to thank
everyone at Middlechurch Home for their compassionate care provided for our Mom.
