ISABELLE REFVIK
We
sadly announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Isabelle Refvik, on Friday,
June 6, 2014. She passed peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, at
the Poseidon Care Centre, at the age of 83 years. Mom was joyfully greeted
by her son Eric, and her eight brothers and sisters who predeceased her.
Isabelle
will be sorely missed and forever remembered by her son Brad (Clare); daughter
Shelley (Trevor); daughter in law Rhona; and two sisters, Hazel and
Donna. Grandma is also lovingly remembered by her seven grandchildren:
Shannon (Jasper), Shayla, Joel, Samantha, Ryan, Mira and Rebecca.
She is so proud of all of you!
We
loved our Mother dearly but know that she is at peace, being held in the arms
of her son Eric.
In
keeping with our Mother's wishes, a Celebration of her Life with family and
friends will take place in Miami, Manitoba, in October.
A
special thanks to the dedicated and compassionate fifth floor staff at the
Poseidon Care Centre, for their gentle kindness, and for taking such great care
of Mom during her extended stay.
In
lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Arthritis Society, 105 – 386 Broadway
Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3C 3R6.
