DANIEL
(DANNY) WILLIAM LYSAK
July
22, 1942 – May 23, 2013
It is with deep sadness the family
announces Danny's passing on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at the Grace Hospital
following a brief but courageous battle with cancer.
Left to mourn Danny’s memory is his
loving wife of 45 years of marriage, Audrey; children Jennifer and Chris;
daughter-in-law, Joanne; and mother-in-law, Mary Picklyk. He was predeceased by
by his mother and father, George and Annie Lysak; brothers, Eugene and Norman;
and father-in-law, Peter Picklyk.
Family, friends and neighbors whose
lives were enriched by knowing Danny will never forget the remarkable man he
was. He was a very colourful and direct man who wasn't afraid to say what was
on his mind. He was an honest, loving and dedicated husband, father and friend
to all. Danny was a jack of all trades and would not hesitate to help out those
he loved. He could fix or provide a solution to any problem.
Danny was born on July 22, 1942. He
was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba where he remained throughout his life. He enjoyed spending time at his log cabin in
Redditt, Ontario which he built with friends and family in 1969. Danny retired

service.
