Wojcik's Funeral Home - Rose Koldon Funeral Arrangements

ROSE MARCELL KOLDON
(nee NAHULIAK)
January 7, 1940 – June 9, 2013

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Mother, Baba, Great Baba Rose at the age of 73 years.
Rose is survived by her children Anita (John), Johnny (Chris), Linda (Hans), Marilyn (Rob), Terry (Anne) and Andrea (Grant); sisters Helen Chambers (Billy), Leona Hancox (Terry) and Delores Borsa; as well as 15 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents John and Lena; brother Philip; and brother – in – law Rick.
Mom passed into the waiting arms of those who preceded her surrounded by all of her children. Always a hard worker, Mom worked tirelessly to provide for her family, sometimes working at up to three jobs at a time. She did have two favourite jobs. One was at A &W’s Polo Park location where she was “Mom” to everyone and later on at the Race Track’s B & R Kitchen, and yes, she loved to feed everyone. We will all miss her perogies, cabbage rolls and soups…All homemade of course!
Also an ultimate sports fan, Mom enjoyed everything from hockey to horse racing, curling, football and her other “sport” BINGO! She was also a country music fan and enjoyed attending concerts and especially her annual trip to Fisher River Treaty Days with her sisters, family and friends.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the nursing staff and Doctors at Seven Oaks Hospital as well as all of her visitors and those who sent cards to cheer her and brighten her days during her hospital stay.
A Celebration of Mom’s Life will be held on Friday, June 14, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. in the Sunny Valley Hall in Red Rose, Manitoba. All those wishing to join us are welcome to attend.
