CLYDE
LEWIS MARTIN
It
is with deep regret that we announce the death of Clyde Lewis Martin on
Thursday, August 14, 2014 at the Grace Hospital at the age of 78 years.
Clyde
will be greatly missed by his wife Barbara of 26 years; children, Lewis, Doug
(Debbie), Brenda (predeceased), Carl, Barry (Jennifer), Pat (Darci); siblings,
Frank (Mabel), Tom (Flossy), Mabel (Alfred), June (Lawrence); stepchildren,
Dwayne (Phyllis), Bev (Rick), Chris (Lisa),Scott; grandchildren, Curtis,
Jordon, Kyle, Derek, Cortni, Amber, Ashley, Afton, Cherise, Mel, Chelsea,
Erika, and Travis.
On
August 15, 1935, Clyde was born in Point Aux Gaul, Newfoundland. He joined the
military at age 17. He worked as an Aero Engine Tech, and then worked
at Boeing for 13 years. Clyde enjoyed fishing and gardening. He also loved
feeding the animals in the backyard, watching the Toronto Blue Jays and
curling. He was an avid handyman and also had a great sense of humour. Clyde
also enjoyed spending time at the lake with Barbara and their two dogs Tass and
Bandit. He enjoyed many a fish fry and we are still trying to figure out the
recipe. For the last 12 years Clyde and Barbara enjoyed going on cruises.
A
private Service has been held.
