GLORINDA
(GLORY) DAWN SCHULTIESS
With much sadness we announce the
peaceful passing of Glorinda Dawn Schultiess at her home on Monday, March 11,
2013.
On July 16, 1950 Glorinda was born
in Winnipeg. Glory was a seamstress, cook, baker, crafter, decorator,
landscaper, artist, writer, teacher, and business woman. Very
accomplished and self taught in all these areas tells of her remarkable
abilities. She could do it all but above all things she loved to shop; always
looking and finding gifts for everybody.
Glory could also handle any chore
and was always ready, willing and able to help wherever she could. She
read a lot. If someone was sick, Glory had the remedy. Whether you
wanted her help or not, you were going to get it. Agree with her or not,
but you better do what she said. And by the way she was usually
right.
A celebration of Glory’s life will
be held at a later date.
Many thanks to all for the phone
calls, visits, cards, flowers, and food brought to the house. Your love
and support is greatly appreciated.
Glory was a lover of animals,
especially dogs. Her wish being that any donations that you wish to make
in her name be to the Gimli Animal Shelter or any animal shelter of your
choice.
