WOJCIK'S FUNERAL CHAPEL - HERBERT CAMPBELL FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS

HERBERT ORTON CAMPBELL
September 10, 1923 – November 23, 2014.

On the evening of November 23, 2014 Herbert Orton Campbell of Winnipeg passed away peacefully at the Victoria General Hospital.
Herb is survived by his twin daughters, Bev (Rod) Smith and Sherry (Rick) Hubka; grandchildren, Carrie and Kyle (fiancée Catherine) Hubka; his brothers, Lloyd and Garry (Marge); sister, Edie; sister-in-law, Anne; and many nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved dearly.  He was predeceased by his four year old son Angus in 1956 and his ex-wife Marion Campbell in 2004.
Born at Oak Hammock to Donald and Katherine Campbell, he recounted many fond memories of days gone by with his nine siblings. Dad left home early for the big cities, and worked in Toronto, Calgary and Winnipeg, doing foundry work for a good part of his life.  He ended his work life at the age of 75 when he hung up his spade from the grounds work he enjoyed doing at the Shaarey Zedek Cemetery.  He always took great pride in his work.
Retirement years brought many wonderful trips for Dad, to Las Vegas, Australia, Europe, Mexico, Hawaii, and many other parts of the USA and Canada.  He was an avid walker, and photographer, and was always in awe of skyscrapers, making sure to have a beer at the highest point of such structures.  Being a solo traveler, he enjoyed meeting new people, and struck up some wonderful friendships along the way.
Though he became discouraged with various health issues in recent years, we know that Dad had a “good run for his money”.  He saw lots of the world, enjoyed many great experiences, and was loved by many.  He particularly enjoyed the recent excursions to Selkirk with his niece Kelly, to visit brother Lloyd.
Dad has given the gift of his eyes to someone in need. A Celebration of his Life will take place on Friday, November 28, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in Wojcik’s Funeral Chapels, Chapel of Memories, 1020 Main Street @ Manitoba Avenue.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Victoria General Hospital, Siloam Mission, the Winnipeg Humane Society, or a charity of one’s choice.

RICHARD WOJCIK'S WINNIPEG FUNERAL HOME - EMILY CRONE FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS

EMILY H. CRONE
 (nee ERICKSON)

On Saturday, November 22, 2014, just days before her 93rd birthday, our Mom, Amma, sister and aunt, Emily Herdis Crone, gently passed away at Victoria General Hospital with her family by her bedside.
Born in Arborg, Manitoba on November 26, 1921 to Ingi and Disa Erickson, Emily was a big sister to Ingi (Eric) (died 1944), Esther (died 1978), and Helga. Following her early education in Arborg, she moved to Winnipeg and studied at Success Business College, after which she worked for Trans Canada Airlines (now Air Canada). It was here, through Emily’s colleague “Scotty” Sinclair that she was introduced to James Arthur Crone from Elmwood in Winnipeg—with whom she communicated throughout the Second World War while he served with The Royal Canadian Navy in such dangerous engagements as the North Atlantic/Murmansk run, and D-Day. After the war, they were married on July 27, 1946.
Emily and Jim (d.1998) had three sons: Eric (Jacquie), Richard (Kathy Sawchuk) and James (Karyn), and a daughter Janet who passed away in infancy. Emily is also survived by her grandsons Michael in Alberta, Andrew in British Columbia, Sam in Winnipeg, Noah Sawchuk in British Columbia and by her dear sister Helga Boyd (Ronald) in Calgary. She is still remembered as “The Matriarch” by many of her numerous nieces and nephews in Manitoba, Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, California, Minnesota and beyond.
Em and Jim enjoyed a ‘large’ life together in Winnipeg, raising their boys and traveling with them throughout Canada, the United States, Great Britain and, in keeping with her proud heritage—Iceland. Mom loved crowded holiday, birthday and other important celebrations with Jim’s large extended family in Winnipeg or with her sisters and their families in West Winnipeg or Arborg. The more the merrier!
When her boys were all in school, Mom, always the keen mathematician, returned to work at the City of Winnipeg Tax Department. In later years, Em and Jim continued to travel with their many friends, and finally, in 1987, sold the family home on Lodge Avenue in Silver Heights and retired to Victoria, British Columbia, where they made many new friends and reconnected with the West Coast Crones.
Mom continued to enjoy her active life in Victoria for seven years after dad passed in 1998 but when the house became too much to manage, she returned to Winnipeg to be near the ‘kids’. She lived at the Wellington Retirement Residence until 2012 when poor health necessitated a further move to the Rosewood Assisted Living Residence.
Mom was a constant in her family’s life; always encouraging, with unwavering optimism, and beaming with pride. Her contagious smile and helping hand will be remembered by all who knew her. Although her passing is a sad occasion, she had a life well lived.
The family would like to thank the staff of The Rosewood and especially Tammy, Gemma, Mary-Lyn and Alma of Fernwood House for their attentive care as Mom’s health declined. We would also like to thank the doctors, nurses and orderlies at the Victoria General Hospital for their professionalism, care and kindness, with a special thanks to the Manager of Patient Experience, Joanne van Dyck.
A family memorial will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, and should you wish, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.

JESSICA LEANNE MAHONEY
December 25, 1985 – November 20, 2014

28 years ago on Christmas day, our family was blessed with the ultimate gift, Jessica Leanne Mahoney. Jess had an amazing way of bringing spirit and energy to a room, and would be the first to help anyone in need. She was unique, our Jessica. Humble and compassionate; she loved to love and extended her heart to everyone she knew.  Although Jessica’s time with us might have been too short, she honestly lived every second of her day loving life and her loved ones to the fullest. Like “footprints in the sand” she will forever walk beside us, guiding us, laughing with us. Warming hearts with the memory of her smile, wiping our tears and clanking her glass in recognition of everyone’s trials and triumphs along our way.
Our angel Jess now watches over the love of her life, Dale Ferguson; her parents Glen and Wendy Mahoney; sister Diana Palmerton (Ryan) and niece Alyssa HIbbert; sister Melissa Mahoney (Jearum Kurtz) and nieces Madisyn, Jaidyn, Jillyan, Mackenzy; brother Scott Mahoney (Robyn Sudak) and Reese; Diane and Dean Ferguson, Alanna and Connor. Jess certainly could not have realized how many people she touched.  She has left a stamp of her heart with each of us.  There are so many more family members and a huge network of friends that she loved dearly. We welcome and invite family and friends to share stories and memories they had with Jess. Please let us know by email or Facebook so we can accommodate all.

RICHARD WOJCIK'S WINNIPEG FUNERAL HOME - GEORGE McROBB FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS

George McRobb
January 15, 1926 - November 18, 2014

With the good fortune of enjoying a happy and fulfilling life, George McRobb passed away peacefully on the morning of Tuesday, November 18, 2014, at the Grace Hospital, at the age of 88 years.
If you knew George, you would know that he was a strict man. He would never allow a guest to have an empty glass (especially on New Year’s Day, when George and his wife Wynn opened their home to neighbours, friends, and family); he would not give anyone a chance to pick up the check; and he would not permit more than a moment to go by without making everyone around him laugh with his tremendously quick wit.
George started work at the Canadian National Railway at the age of 17 where, other than a short stint in the Royal Canadian Navy during World War II, he remained until he retired in 1985.
Throughout his life, George loved sports. In his younger days, he played soccer, hockey, golf and curled. Later, George was a passionate fan, watching these sports and more on TV.
George possessed an innate quality that goes beyond words like kind, generous, funny and thoughtful. If there was a dog in the room, it was immediately drawn to his side. He found humor in almost everything and didn’t hesitate to share it. George had a wonderful relationship with, and influence on, his two grandsons and was especially proud of the fine men they’ve grown to be. George will be missed but he will never, ever be forgotten.
Left to honour and cherish George’s memory are his loving wife of 58 years Wynn; daughter Laurie Mitchell and her husband Frank; son Geordie McRobb and his partner Audra Lesosky; grandson Alex Mitchell and his fiancé Ally Wery; grandson Andrew Mitchell; and sister Isabelle Thomas and her family. He was predeceased by his parents George and Elizabeth; brother Sonny; and sister May.
At George’s request, no formal funeral service will be held. Instead, please raise a glass and toast this funny, kind and generous man.
The family would like to thank the staff of 3 South and 4 North at the Grace Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Manitoba or the Winnipeg Humane Society.

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Deborah Ann Doran, on Thursday, November 13, 2014, at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 42 years.
       Left to forever cherish Deborah’s memory are her son Corey; the love of her life Robert; as well as her dear aunt Cathy and uncle Bruce in Meaford, Ontario. She is survived by her parents; four brothers; and five sisters.

To Us is Born a Little Child

To us is born a little Child
Of Mary, maiden mother mild,
Yule time a merry season is,
Babe Jesus our delight and bliss.

O Jesus darling of my heart,
how rich in mercy, Babe Thou art.

Strange sight within a stable old,
Lo! God is born in want and cold,
O selfish world, this Babe, I say,
Doth put thee to the blush today.

Now angels joyful hymns upraise,
And God's own Son with carols praise.
To Bethlehem the shepherds fare,
And firstlings of their flock they bear

March of The Three Kings

Three great kings came from the Orient,
A star full bright showed them the highway;
Robed were they in costliest raiment,
With crowns and jewels in a fine display;
And they carried gifts in casks of gold
For the lowborn Christ child we were told,
And we join'd their band and march'd with them
To find the holy child of Bethlehem.

And we saw the star stop o'er a stall,
Its bright light sent forth a holy glow;
It reveal'd the Babe so dear and small,
In swaddling garments in a manger low.
We bow'd our knees in wonderous awe,
Singing God's praises, "Alleluia,"
For His shining star led three wise men
To find the holy child of Bethlehem.

Luke, Chapter 1

Mary was barely a woman,
a fair maiden in her teens.
Betrothed to a man working wood with his hands,
She would be happy behind the scenes.
An angel named Gabriel met her,
Announcing the heavenly news,
She would have a baby boy to bring the world joy.
He would be the King of Jews.

And Blessed is she who believed that there could be
Fulfillment of the word of the Lord.
Blessed is she who believed that there could be
Fulfillment of the word of the Lord.

The couple set out for Judea.
What a trip it must have been.
Mary in bloom they could not find a room
But in a stable the baby came in.
The child was destined for greatness
And shepherds and kings came to see.
But Herod saw red and the family fled.
From the desert the son came to be.

The child she bore was admired
and crowds of people followed him around.
They waited for guidance but in their defiance,
they led him away fully bound.
She offered no doubts of her question.
She let this be done through His will.
She offered no help or suggestion.
She just kept quiet and still,
And watching her son at a distance.

Knowing she could not defend,
She suffered his loss
and was there at the cross and stayed
with Him until the end.
Now Jesus is risen in glory.
His second coming we await.
he child of her womb has defeated the tomb
Now we all share his new estate.

In a Manger He is Lying

In a manger He is lying
Who will greet Him as He sleeps?
Baby Jesus, infant Christ-child,
Who will greet Him as He sleeps?
Wake, ye shepherds, and as ye play
Gladsome songs and carols gay,
Seek the Babe ere break of day;
Seek the Babe ere break of day.

Angel hosts have sung their story,
Who will follow the bright star?
Told of Christ in all his glory,
Who will follow the bright star?
Wake, ye shepherds, and sing Noel,
Help the angel chorus swell,
To the earth glad tidings tell;
To the earth glad tidings tell.

In a stable, dark and dreary,
Who will be the first to kneel?
At the crib where Christ is sleeping,
Who will be the first to kneel?
Wake, ye shepherds, Seek out your King!
Play your songs and loudly sing,
Till the air with echoes ring;
till the air with echoes ring.

How Brightly Beams the Morning Star

How brightly beams the morning star!
What sudden radiance from afar
Doth glad us with its shining?

Thy word, Jesus, truly feeds us,
Rightly leads us,
Life bestowing praise,
Oh praise such love o'er flowing.

The ray of God that breaks our night
And fills the darken'd souls with light.
Who long for truth were pining.

Hark Ye Shepherds

Hark ye shepherds, hasten to the manger,
Fear not to leave thy grazing sheep;
Hear the host of heaven loud proclaiming,
While God above His watch doth keep.
See now the light shinning about thee,
Sheer splendor glowing high and bring,
It was foretold by men holy, ye would
See Jesus our dear Lord tonight.

Haste ye shepherds, from the vale and mountain,
This holy night, this night divine,
Thus spake angels, telling the glad tidings,
Of goodwill, peace to all mankind.
Now follow quickly God's bright beacon,
Protecting all who hurry past,
Baby Jesus waits thy humble greeting
And offering of all thou hast.

Good King Wenceslas

Good King Wenceslas looked out on the Feast of Stephen.
When the snow lay round about,
Deep and crisp and even;
Brightly shone the moon that night,
Tho' the frost was cruel,
When a poor man came in sight,
Gath'ring winter fuel.

"Hither, page and stand by me,
If thou know'st it, telling,
Yonder peasant, who is he?
Where and what his dwelling?"
"Sire, he lives a good league hence,
Underneath the mountain;
Right against the forest fence,
By St. Agnes' fountain."

"Bring me flesh and bring me wine,
Bring me pine logs hither;
Thou and I will see him dine,
When we bear them thither."
Page and monarch forth they went,
Forth they went together;
Through the rude wind's wild lament
And the bitter weather.

"Sire, the night is darker now,
And the wind blows stronger;
Fails my heart, I know not how,
I can go no longer."
"Mark my footsteps, my good page;
Tread thou in them boldly;
Thou shalt find the winter's rage
Freeze they blood less coldly."

In his master's steps he trod,
Where the snow lay dinted;
Heat was in the very sod
Which the saint had printed.
Therefore, Christian men, be sure,
Wealth or rank possessing,
Ye who now will bless the poor
Shall yourselves find blessing.

Good Christian All Rejoice

Good Christian all, rejoice,
With heart and soul, and voice;
Give ye heed to what we say:
Jesus Christ is born to-day;
Ox and ass before him bow,
And he is in the manger now.
Christ is born to-day!
Christ is born to-day!

Good Christian all, rejoice,
With heart and soul, and voice;
Now ye hear of endless bliss:
Jesus Christ was born for this!
He hath oped the heavenly door,
And man is blessed evermore.
Christ was born for this!
Christ was born for this!

Good Christian all, rejoice,
With heart and soul, and voice;
Now ye need not fear the grave:
Jesus Christ was born to save!
Calls you one and calls you all
To gain his everlasting hall.
Christ was born to save!
Christ was born to save!

Gentle Mary Laid Her Child

Gentle Mary laid her Child
Lowly in a manger.
There He lay, the Undefiled,
to the world a stranger.
Such a Babe in such a place,
can He be the Savior?
Ask the saved of all the race
who have found His favor.
Angels sang about His birth,
wise men sought and found Him.
Heaven's star shone brightly forth
glory all around Him.
Shepherds saw the wondrous sight,
hear the angels singing.
All the plains were lit that night,
all the hills were ringing.
Gentle Mary laid her Child
lowly in a manger.
He is still the Undefiled,
but no more a stranger.
Son of God of humble birth,
beautiful the story.
Praise His name in all the earth.
Hail! The King of Glory!

Christmas in Killarney

The holly green, the ivy green
The prettiest picture you've ever seen;
Is Christmas in Killarney
With all of the folks at home?

It's nice, you know, to kiss your beau
While cuddling under the mistletoe
And Santa Claus you know, of course
Is one of the boys from home.

The door is always open
The neighbors pay a call
And Father John before he's gone
Will bless the house and all.

How grand it feels to click your heels
And join in the fun of the jigs and reels.
I'm handing you no blarney
The likes you've never known.

Is Christmas in Killarney
With all of the folks at home?

Christ was Born on Christmas Day

Christ was born on Christmas Day,
Wreathe the holy, twine the bay;
Christus natus hodie;
The Babe, the Son, the Holy One of Mary.

He is born to set us free,
he is born our Lord to be,
Ex Maria Virgine;
The God, the Lord, by all ador'd forever.

Let the bright red berries glow,
ev'rywhere is goodly show,
Christus natus hodie;
The Babe, the Son, the Holy One of Mary.

Christian men, rejoice and sing,
'Tis the birthday of a King,
Ex Maria Virgine;
The God, the Lord, by all ador'd forever.

Child Jesus Came to Earth This Day

Child Jesus came to earth this day,
To save us sinners dying;
And cradled in the straw and hay,
The Holy One is lying.
The stars shone down the Child to greet,
The lowing oxen kiss the feet,

Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Child Jesus.

Take courage, soul so weak and worn,
Thy sorrows have departed;
A Child in David's town is born,
To heal the broken hearted.
Then let us haste this Child to find,
And children be in heart and mind!

Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing

Come Thou fount of every blessing
Tune my heart to sing Thy grace
Streams of mercy, never ceasing
Call for songs of loudest praise
Teach me some melodious sonnet
Sung by flaming tongues above
Praise the mount, I'm fixed upon it
Mount of Thy redeeming love
Here I raise my Ebenezer
Here by Thy great help I've come
And I hope by Thy good pleasure
Safely to arrive at home
Jesus sought me when a stranger
Wandering from the throne of God
He to rescue me from danger
Interposed His precious blood
Oh, to grace how great a debtor
Daily Im constrained to be
Let that grace now, like a fetter
Bind my wandering heart to Thee
Prone to wander, Lord I feel it
Prone to leave the God I love
Heres my heart, oh, take and seal it
Seal it for Thy courts above
Come Thou fount of every blessing
Tune my heart to sing Thy grace
Streams of mercy, never ceasing
Call for songs of loudest praise
Teach me some melodious sonnet
Sung by flaming tongues above
Praise the mount, Im fixed upon it
Mount of Thy unchanging love

It Came Upon a Midnight Clear

It came upon the midnight clear,
That glorious song of old,
From angels bending near the earth
To touch their harps of gold!
Peace on the earth, good will to men,
From heaven's all gracious King!
The world in solemn stillness lay
To hear the angels sing.

Still through the cloven skies they come
With peaceful wings unfurled
And still their heavenly music floats
O'er all the weary world;
Above its sad and lowly plains
They bend on hovering wing.
And ever o'er its Babel sounds
The blessed angels sing.

Yet with te woes of sin and strife
The world hath suffered long;
Beneath the angel-strain have rolled
Two thousand years of wrong;
And man, at war with man, hears not
The love song which they bring:
O hush the noise, ye men of strife,
And hear the angels sing.

For lo! the days are hastening on,
By prophet bards foretold,
When, with the ever-circling years,
Shall come the Age of Gold;
When peace shall over all the earth
Its ancient splendors fling,
And all the world give back the song
Which now the angels sing.

WOJCIK'S FUNERAL CHAPEL - LLOYD MURRAY DOLE FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS

Lloyd M. Dole
July 19, 1955 – November 9, 2014

The very embodiment of “hail fellow well met,” Lloyd M. Dole, has departed this earthly realm on Sunday, November 9, 2014, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, at the age of 59 years.
Left to forever cherish Lloyd’s memory are his brother, Roger; dear companion Judy; as well as loving “ex,” Diane. He was predeceased by mother Connie and father Gordon. He also left behind a multitude of friends who are grieved at the thought they will never again share Lloyd’s avid conversation, or his infectious love of good books, good music, good television and good movies. A short list: the St. James Supper Club; his Winnipeg Press Club pals; Lloyd’s Winnipeg Sun coworkers; his softball and volleyball families; and the “Funky Five.”
Lloyd was technically born a West Kildonan lad, but became a staunch fixture of sunny St. James, evidently a match for his usually sunny disposition. He spent much of his life working in the media, specifically the Winnipeg Tribune and the Winnipeg Sun, where Lloyd’s smarts and natural ebullience made a perfect fit among the more fun-loving ink-stained wretches. At the Sun, for example, when the late Lindor Reynolds decided to dress him up for a Boy George look-alike contest, Lloyd was, as usual, game for anything. Upon seeing the bathroom adjoining then-publisher Paul Robson’s office, he would be the guy to cheekily inquire: “Publisher’s clearing house?”
Many of Lloyd’s comrades will remember the infamous Thursday night get-togethers, watching Hill Street Blues or matching wits with him (usually unsuccessfully) over epic marathons of Trivial Pursuit on Planet Dorchester. Fond memories of gabbing over dinner or music on Moorgate, on Linwood, or on Wharton, or elsewhere will linger for many. We will also remember his devotion to his own pets, and Lloyd’s connection with all manner of cats and dogs was truly amazing. Lloyd took great satisfaction in supporting unfortunate or disadvantaged animals. He will long be remembered for his unfailing loyalty, generous heart, quick smile, and his capacity to share his passions with his friends.
Lloyd’s memory will be celebrated on the afternoon of Thursday, November 27, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., in the Royal Canadian Legion, St. James No. 4, 1755 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Craig Street Cats, 89 Madison Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3J 1J2.

Birthday of a King

In the little village of Bethlehem,
There lay a Child one day;
And the sky was bright with a holy light
O’er the place where Jesus lay.

Alleluia! O how the angels sang.
Alleluia! How it rang!
And the sky was bright with a holy light
’Twas the birthday of a King.

’Twas a humble birthplace, but O how much
God gave to us that day,
From the manger bed what a path has led,
What a perfect, holy way.

How Great Thou Art

O Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder
Consider all the worlds thy hands have made,
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy power throughout the universe displayed:
Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to thee:
How great thou art! How great thou art!
Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to thee:
How great thou art! How great thou art!
When through the woods and forest glades I wander
And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees,
When I look down from lofty mountain grandeur,
And hear the brook and feel the gentle breeze:
And when I think that God, his Son not sparing,
Sent him to die, I scarce can take it in,
That on the cross, my burden gladly bearing,
He bled and died to take away my sin.
When Christ shall come with shout of acclamation
And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart!
Then *I shall bow in humble adoration,
And there proclaim, My God, how great thou art!

Amazing Grace

  1. Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
    That saved a wretch like me!
    I once was lost, but now am found;
    Was blind, but now I see.
  2. ’Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
    And grace my fears relieved;
    How precious did that grace appear
    The hour I first believed.
  3. Through many dangers, toils and snares,
    I have already come;
    ’Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far,
    And grace will lead me home.
  4. The Lord has promised good to me,
    His Word my hope secures;
    He will my Shield and Portion be,
    As long as life endures.
  5. Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
    And mortal life shall cease,
    I shall possess, within the veil,
    A life of joy and peace.
  6. The earth shall soon dissolve like snow,
    The sun forbear to shine;
    But God, who called me here below,
    Will be forever mine.
  7. When we’ve been there ten thousand years,
    Bright shining as the sun,
    We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise
    Than when we’d first begun.

God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen

God rest ye merry, gentlemen,
Let nothing you dismay,
Remember Christ our Savior
Was born on Christmas Day;
To save us all from Satan's power
When we were gone astray.
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy,
O tidings of comfort and joy!

From God our heavenly Father
A blessed angel came;
And unto certain shepherds
Brought tiding of the same;
How that in Bethlehem was born
The Son of God by name.

"Fear not, then," said the angel,
"Let nothing you affright;
This day is born a Savior
Of a pure virgin bright,
To free all those who trust in him
From Satan's power and might."

Now to the Lord sing praises,
All you within this place,
And with true love and brotherhood
Each other now embrace;
this holy tide of Christmas
Doth bring redeeming grace

Angels We Have Heard on High

Angels We Have Heard On High
Angels we have heard on high
Sweetly swinging o'er the plains
And the mountains in reply
Echoing their joyous strains.

Gloria In Excelsis Deo
Gloria In Excelsis Deo

Shepherds why this jubilee
Why your joyous strains prolong
Say what may the tidings be
Which inspire your heavenly song?

Come to Bethlehem and see
Him Whose birth the angels sing;
Come, adore on bended knee,
Christ the Lord, the newborn King.

See within in a manger laid
Jesus Lord of heav'n and earth
Mary, Joseph lend your aid
With us sing our Savior's birth

We Three Kings

We three kings of Orient are
Bearing gifts we travel afar.
Field and fountain, moor and mountain,
Following yonder star.

O star of wonder, star of might,
Star of royal beauty bright,
Westward leading, still proceeding,
Following yonder star.

Born a king on Bethlehem's plain,
Gold I bring to crown Him again,
King forever, ceasing never
Over us all to reign.

O star of wonder, star of might,
Star of royal beauty bright,
Westward leading, still proceeding,
Following yonder star.

Frankincense to offer have I.
Incense owns a Deity nigh.
Prayer and praising all men raising,
Worship Him, God on high.

O star of wonder, star of might,
Star of royal beauty bright,
Westward leading, still proceeding,
Following yonder star.

Myrrh is mine: Its bitter perfume
Breaths a life of gathering gloom.
Sorrow, sighing, bleeding, dying,
Sealed in a stone-cold tomb.

O star of wonder, star of might,
Star of royal beauty bright,
Westward leading, still proceeding,
Following yonder star.

Glorious now behold Him arise,
King and God and Sacrifice.
Alleluia, alleluia!
Sounds through the earth and skies.

O star of wonder, star of might,
Star of royal beauty bright,
Westward leading, still proceeding,
Following yonder star.
