RICHARD WOJCIK'S WINNIPEG FUNERAL HOME - JENNIE LEE PUSIEWICH FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS

JENNIE LEE PUSIEWICH
January 19, 1980 – January 9, 2015

Sadly and far too soon, Jennie passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, after a dignified and courageous fight with cancer.
Jennie will be terribly missed by her mother, Dianne (Ed); father, Bill; brother, Jason (Gabriela); her little nieces, Sadie and Danica; as well as many aunts; uncles; cousins; friends and colleagues. Welcoming her in Heaven are her two sets of grandparents and Jill. She was a loving daughter, sister, auntie, cousin, friend and helper. She was the first to forgive and the first to offer help.
Having a big heart and willingness to help those who needed it most led Jennie to a career as a youth probation officer. Her colleagues were a tight knit group, to which she referred as her work family.
Jennie loved many things in life. She loved to travel and was a sun-seeker, frequenting Mexico and other destinations with her cousins, and Arizona with her Mom and Ed. She also grew up camping, spending summers throughout her childhood with family and friends all over Canada and the United States, and spending much time at the lake in Lac du Bonnet.
A great joy in Jennies life were her animals. Sam, her childhood Cocker Spaniel, and her beloved Springer Spaniel Tucker were companions and friends to her. Tucker, especially, was a great comfort these past weeks. Jennie was especially thankful to the many people who cared for Tucker when she could not.
A celebration of Jennies life will be held on Monday, February 2, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in Lutheran Church of the Cross, 560 Arlington Street.
A sincere thank you to the many doctors, nurses and caregivers who were at Jennies side in her time of need. A special thank you to nurses Michelle and Jennifer and to Dr. Bruce Martin for their compassion and care.
Jennie loved all animals, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to an animal rescue shelter of your choice.
