On September 16, 1946 Ron was born in Winnipeg to Reginald and Freda Carther. He loved spending his summers at Grand Beach with his family in his youth. Ron attended Grant Park High School and Red River College, where he received his electrical degree.
Ron was a hard working self-employed electrician, always willing to help others. He loved his dog Hershey and visiting with the neighbours down the block. Ron had a passion for model trains and had a fantastic layout, in his attic spending his free time working and enjoying it. Ron was a movie buff and had a large collection of DVDs.
On Wednesday, November 26, 2014, a memorial was held for close family and friends at Warren's studio. Interment will take place at a later date.
